Hebbes.be

My re-design of HEBBES.be is online as from now, HEBBES.be. I was privileged to be assigned the re-design of HEBBES.be during my employment at Snow. HEBBES.be is a client of LG&F for above advertising. So Snow was assigned to do the re-design of all pages and the mailing. It was my favorite project at Snow and I still honour Jay for giving me the responsability over the design of this project and for guiding me thru my first real usabilty-research. Now finally after a few months of waiting... the outcome. I hope Snow and HEBBES.be are happy, at least I am.

Mailing headline is:
"Hebbes.be looks different. different and better!"
It will be even easier to discover the deal of your life, find and achieve your dreamhouse or buy your favorite car. Your opinion matters to us. let us know what you think about the re-design of our new website..."

Original message.
"Hebbes.be ziet er anders uit. Anders en beter!
Het wordt nog gemakkelijker om het huis van je dromen te kopen of een blitse wagen of deal van je leven te vinden. Jullie mening is ook belangrijk voor ons. Laat ons weten wat jullie van de nieuwe site vinden... "

Bacardi-Martini, launch

I've been working at Snow since August 2006, and really — although I'm not a corporate blogger, despite Strategic insights: I sometimes even blog things uncomfortable to my own company which is approved but to say the least not appreciated — Snow is with farmost the topnotch online agency in our, geographical, regions. Other agencies might be pleasing as well but we're a family. Everyone is on the same line, opinions are allowed, creatives push limits and there's breathing space for out of the box-advertising, but most important of all is WE HAVE FUN! Don't we all huh? Correct yes, but we have fun all day every day, it's ok to laugh with the Creative directors' moves, hell we even go boxing every tuesday!

Anyway to cut the long story short, also today (yes it seems a like a publishing feast at Grapplica) Bacardi-Martini went live!
Thank you C.Harou for the comission and trust (the 'client', Bacardi-Martini), E.DeGendt for excellent follow-up and brainwork (account executive, LG&F), C.DeMey for pushing everybodies limits and making things happen (internet producer, Snow), J.Detavernier for carefull guidance and feedback (strategic partner, Snow), C.Ghewy for pointing out shortcommings and directing the look and feel (creative partner, LG&F) P.Wauters for the approval and support (group creative director, LG&F) and last but not least L.Keppens for caring and caressing all parties involved ('junior' ;p account executive), oh almost forgot... thank you all others and especially Stijntje without which i'd never would have had this idea i guess.

And yes, this is a good example of what i think corporate websites should look like, off the edge, out of the box, not dull nor boring but catchy and off the hook.

The King of the ToyCompany came up with some wicked designs again... The newest flemish movie promises to be ravish, raw and uncut hardcore — you've never seen before on a range of many many movies produced latest decade... ExDrummer, maybe "c'est arrivé (...) comes close to the impact this film will unveil to your senses... There's a MySpace too, and off course to almost obliged YouTube.

Out in (i guess only belgian) theatres from 31st january!

Now hiring

Our office is expanding and hiring. So good news for anyone who fits into the profile :) There have been several announces, here's the one I like most. At CPLUV or where else would a self-respecting online advertising agency find decent re-enforcements.

/*------------------------------------ Original:

Someone like Pedro
We’re looking for a multimedia developer. Someone like Pedro* (our multimedia developer) would be ideal. He puts the designs online that our designers have designed, based on the concepts that our conceptualists have conceived. Yes, Pedro understands.Just like the designer, he brings the idea to another level by adding animation and by suggesting the right technical approach. He works in team with everybody involved in the project. They call him a nerd. But Pedro calls them ‘advertising boy’. He wins.

In the at least 2 years you’ve been working, you learned the following things:
» HTML, Javascript, XML, PHP en MySQL
» Flash Actionscript and Flash animations
» optional ASP.net
» knowledge of servers in function of deployment
» optional DVD-authoring
» Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Fireworks
» Dreamweaver

(*) Pedro is not Pedro’s real name.

Interested? Mail Snow

Snow !!

While I'm still strugling, with these new systems Google offers to tweak and stylize blogs, Snow has updated it's portfolio!! We've launched the a new portfolio-website, so from now no more buzz the fuzz on other locations. Designed by myself, jeeeeuiii, and yes I must praise "the funny little man" for his carefull shepardness and "Pedro" for his extensive calmness in working on this project and doing a proper development.

But maybe consider taking a look at MTFR's blog.
